Students off during major Coastal Bend Spring Break weeks, March 8-16, can fill a day at the South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center, 9 am-6 pm, 8545 S. Staples St., touring gardens, butterfly house, trails, wetlands and joining animal ambassador activities, designed for students or families!  General admission tickets can be purchased online, or at Visitors Center.  

■          9 am- 6 pm, explore orchid & bromeliad conservatories, gardens, Butterfly House, wetland boardwalk, Wildlife in Focus winning photographs on nature trail, plus Reptile Room, Nature’s Boutique gift shop.  KIDS PLAY AREA, Tree House! 

■        2:30 pm daily, ‘Spring Break ‘REP-TALES on the LAWN.  Feeding / FAQ .’

Up to 6 people enjoy a private 20-minute session with 3 parrots or 3 reptiles for $60

plus admission.    

Up to 6 people experience a private 30-minute session with Reptiles and Parrots for $105 plus admission.

(Guests can hold and pet animals, take photos, and give them a treat in a private setting.)
