Saturday classes are listed below, as soon as scheduled. Unless noted, all begin at 9:30 am,
in Education Station; and are covered by general admission that day, your Membership, or
$5 each class per person. Make RESERVATIONS to reserve one of 40 seats, at 361-852-2100.
Classes are designed, scheduled and often taught in conjunction with the Nueces
Master Gardeners.

garden chores including pruning and fertilizing so your yard is ready for warmer
weather.
Feb. 21: COMPOSTING FOR SOIL HEALTH
Master Composter and Nueces Master Gardener Donna Gonzales shows you how to start and maintain a home compost center to create amazing soil amendments for your garden.
Feb 28: LANDSCAPING WITH LESS WATER:
STBG Executive Director and Horticulturist Dr. Michael Womack helps you understand practical principles of Xeriscape to make your landscape waterwise.
