HAY-MAZE opens Saturday, October 18!   

Ocean Drive Garden Club partners with South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center creating the fifth and final fall “Hay-mazing Adventure,” open 9 am-6 pm, included in general admission.   Built with150 bales of hay, the Garden Club elaborately decorates for Halloween and arrival of fall weather, changing to Christmas décor by Thanksgiving!    

        Youngsters’ sense of direction is challenged by its twists and turns, as parents keep an eye on kids inside.  Hay Maze is near the yellow Tree House in Children’s Play Area. An upcoming Kids Play Area expansion spells the end of Hay Maze.

HAUNTED TRAIL WALKS  8-10 pm, Fridays, October 17, 24!

Ghosts and witches roam Gardens habitat waiting for visitors to come down the Haunted Trail, where no one knows what might jump out and touch your leg!  Staff who care for snakes & tarantulas guide you.  Hayride back for refreshments in Reptile Room, as your heart rate slows!  A scary fundraiser for animal medical care. 

(Not recommended for kids under 11.)

HALLOWEEN PRICE TREAT for costumed kids, Friday, Oct 31!

Kids ages three to 12, dressed in their Halloween costumes, can visit the South Texas BOO-tanical Gardens, for HALF-PRICE ADMISSION, just $3, October 31, when accompanied by at least one adult.
