February 21 Botanical Gardens seminar CORPUS CHRISTI
BIG Cats of South Texas will be discussed in a South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center seminar beginning at 6:30 pm, Tuesday, February 21, in the Visitors Center, 8545 S. Staples St. Dr. Michael Tewes from the Cesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute will lecture on bigger cats, such as ocelots and mountain lions, found in wilderness areas of South Texas and northern Mexico, including the wildlife corridor shared by the Botanical Gardens and northern King Ranch. Although this seminar, in cooperation with the Texas Master Naturalists program, is FREE, reservations should be made at 361.852.2100.
