‘Basics of Floral Design’ seminar comes to

Botanical Gardens & Nature Center April 19

CORPUS CHRISTI--Want to try your hand at floral design but don’t know where to start?  The South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center has the knowledge you need at the seminar Basics of Floral Design, from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 19, at the Gardens & Nature Center, 8545 S. Staples.

            Hobbyist Nan Bailey teaches attractive but simple designs, bud arrangements, wreaths, bow-making and basket arrangements.  Class fees are $6, $3.50 members, including Gardens & Nature Center admission.  For reservations, call 361-852-2100.
